Learn how the Regulator Movement shaped local history and influenced the path toward independence at the next Lewisville Historical Society Presents … on Monday, May 11 at 6 p.m.
Historian and author Marcia D. Phillips will discuss her new book, The Regulator Movement in North Carolina: Prelude to the Revolution, which explores the bold grassroots uprising of backcountry farmers who challenged corrupt colonial officials and helped lay the groundwork for revolution in North Carolina. Books will be available for purchase.
Lewisville Historical Society Presents ... is a bimonthly program of the Lewisville Historical Society and the Lewisville Branch Library. It is free and open to the public. Participants do not need to be members of the society to attend.
